Louis joined Footprint in February 2024 after moving back to his home county of Dorset from London. Prior to joining, Louis gained more hands-on site experience working for local landscapers and decorating companies.

Louis graduated from Kingston School of Art with distinction in 2021 where his thesis project re-imagined an existing school in Newham, East London as a series of walled gardens which encouraged outside learning and increased biodiversity of the area as well as creating a better connection with the local community.

After studying, Louis worked for several practices in London where he gained experience on a wide variety of residential projects, competition entries and exhibition designs. During this time Louis worked extensively making models one of which was exhibited in the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition.
