Project Architect

Lucy first joined Footprint Architects in June 2013 as a Part 1 and then re-joined the team 2020 as a qualified Architect. Lucy now leads many of the education and community projects within the office.

Lucy has as full range of project experience in all sectors but has a personal passion for public and community architecture, designing for marginalised communities. Lucy has recently completed her TQUK Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Autism (RQF). She also enjoys computer modelling and has project managed and coordinated a number of BIM projects from concept to completion.

Her design inspirations come from a Japanese / Scandinavian ethos for simple but beautiful materials and detailing that promotes positive wellbeing for the users. Lucy qualified from the University of Lincoln with a first class BA(Hons) in 2013 and the from the University of Sheffield with a MArch in 2017 where she was awarded the ‘Sir H. K. Stephenson Travelling Studentship in Architecture’ for her thesis research and the ‘Robert Henry Memorial Prize’ for exception skills in photography and film. Lucy completed her part 3 Postgraduate Certificate from University of Bath in 2019.

Lucy has recently taken up cricket as a retirement sport from over 10 years of playing rugby. When she’s not out on the field you’ll find her in a coffee shop playing backgammon
