Nikki joined Footprint Architects in June 2023 after finishing her Part 1 Architectural degree from the University of Bath. Alongside conceptual design, she enjoyed the technical design aspect of the course, exploring architectural tectonics and detailing. Her final project was designing a PassivHaus SEN Primary School, specifically for ASD children, in the heart of Oxford. The project mainly focused on sensory design principles, tailoring spaces to its neuro-divergent audience, whilst considering its long-term environmental impact. Her sandwich course allowed her to work in another practice for year, giving her a greater understanding of the planning process, studio culture and collaborative design.

Outside of work, she enjoys keeping active, be it walks or hours at the gym, as well as socialising with friends at the pub on the weekends.
